With the aging baby boomer population as well as the growth of Maricopa County, Josh saw the dermatological needs of the older adult population being unfulfilled. This need sparked the founding of DermRight.

Josh graduated with honors from Boston College William F. Connell School of Nursing and is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, trained and specializing in Dermatology. He is licensed in Arizona and Massachusetts.

Josh joined the U.S. Army in 2002 in light of the September 11th attacks and was deployed twice to the Middle East as an Infantryman and Cavalry Scout. It was during those deployments as a combat lifesaver that Josh developed his passion for caring for others and he became convinced the medical field was his calling.
 
Josh has provided care in diverse settings but no matter what setting Josh was in, he was always drawn to the patients dermatological needs. While working for one of the largest dermatology practices in the Northeast he noticed there was a gap in care for the older adult population and became fixated on being part of the solution. 
 
In 2018 Josh and his family moved from Boston to Phoenix and he had one goal in mind, provide dermatological care to homebound individuals and those with decreased  mobility. Josh has dedicated his career to treating patients in the comfort of their home. Josh is motivated by exceeding his patients expectations and always gives each patient the time, dignity, and respect they deserve, while having outstanding outcomes and proven patient satisfaction.
